Several things noticeable happened after I changed my blog to WordPress. One of those is comment spam.
Thing is that this comment spam is pretty intelligent in following sense.
– They don’t advertise directly. Sometimes, they read like friendly comments and almost look like that is written by hands. I’m still confused whether they are written by automated system or by cheap part-timer. However, they made big mistake. They commented in English on my article written in Korean. 🙂
– They are targeted to WordPress users. Many of them try to sell WordPress plug-ins or SEO tools.
BTW, I appreciate those marketing efforts because of the attributes that I just mentioned. Spammers upgraded.
